On this two day course you will create a portrait of a particular person of your choice in clay from 2D images. This can be either printed or digital, although at least one printout for measuring purposes is a good idea. A few different viewpoints are needed - a view from the front; a sideview and a 3/4 view at least. We will focus on anatomy; expression; personality; application of clay and transposing 2D image into a 3D form. You will have complete freedom of expression, style and surface finish of your sculpture.
 
This course is suitable for those with some experience in clay modelling, figurative modelling, life drawing or sculpture who wish to expand their skills.
