This introductory stone carving course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some sculptural experience. 
 
Over the two consecutive days you will learn fundamental stone carving techniques whilst also getting to grips with the process of three dimensional carving. After introducing you to course materials, tools and the carving process Miranda will give step-by-step guidance and demonstrations to help you create your own beautifully finished limestone carving to take home with you. We have a choice of projects with examples and templates to help you get started (examples shown in our photographs).
 
Your tutor is Miranda, a professional sculptor and qualified teacher who will help you skillfully complete a carving you will be proud of.
